What type of food and how much to use is a commonly asked question.
Fine foods and flake foods are not the best foods for pond use because fish in a pond
miss most of the fine particles which fall to the bottom of the pond and eventually create a pollution hazard.
By using our Japanese Floating Pellet Food there should be no waste or pollution if used correctly.
For the best results feed routinely once or twice daily, no more than fish can eat in 5-10 minutes.
There are 4 granule sizes available- approximately
1mm, 2mm, 3mm & 4mm which are numbered sizes 1, 2, 3, 4.
All four sizes are the same price and the required size should be selected from the drop down menu when ordering.
SIZE 1 For fish 2.5 - 7.5cm (1"- 3")
SIZE 2 For fish 7.5 - 20cm (3"- 8 ")
SIZE 3 For fish 20 - 30cm (8"- 12")
SIZE 4 For fish over 30cm (12")
Please select the size required from the drop down menu. If no size is selected then size 2 will be supplied.
